found the perfect Harry in eleven year old Daniel
Radcliffe. Director Chris
Columbus stated that "We saw so many
talented kids in the search for Harry. The
process was intense and there were times we felt
we would never find an individual who embodied
the complete spirit and depth of Harry Potter.
Then Daniel walked into the room and we all knew
that we had found Harry. Daniel Radcliffe
scored one of the most sought after roles in film
history. He is Harry Potter.
